The location was great, with easy access to Blackpool, Manchester, and Liverpool. The lodge had a lovely view and a peaceful lake nearby for evening strolls. The kitchen facilities were good and allowed us to prepare our own meals.
There were several negatives during our stay. There was no welcome pack or instructions for the internet, and we had to search for towels and tea towels.

Our stay at the lodge was wonderful. The views in the morning while enjoying a coffee outside were amazing. The property was clean, organized, and felt like a home away from home. The host was also excellent with communication and provided thorough directions and information about the lodge.
Although there were a couple of minor drawbacks, such as the softness of the bed and the occasional noise from the wind scraping the plants outside the bedroom windows, they didn't significantly affect our overall experience. The lodge was also close to a busy A road, but the noise was not bothersome, especially when inside the lodge or on the deck.

It was a great day out for the whole family, with plenty of exciting activities and attractions. The stadium itself was impressive, and we even got to watch a thrilling game. The kids were overjoyed and it made our stay at the lodge even more memorable. The location of the lodge was convenient, allowing us to easily access the stadium and enjoy our day to the fullest.
In my wife's opinion, it would have been wonderful if there had been a small play area or a kids' club at the lodge. With our large family, the children wanted some extra entertainment options to keep them occupied during downtime.

Great views of a patch of the lake, had to squint to see it. Free WiFi and parking, so I didn't have to pay for the privilege of staying in this delightful construction site.
What a shame, couldn't enjoy the full beauty of the lake due to the incomplete landscaping. Oh well.
